Artists Welcome PacketMusician Performance TimesArts & Cultural Festival Artists

Saturday & Sunday, March 6 & 7, 2010

The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Festival began to celebrate diversity and encourage greater understanding of cultural differences through the arts. Art and music touch the heart, inspire the imagination and draw people together. This two day festival of art, music, performance, food and arts activities certainly has something for everyone of all ages. Come support the arts!

The 3rd Annual Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Festival returns to Northwest Campus of Pima Community College on the Northwest side of town. The weekend long Festival is comprised of four categories or program areas which include: Children's-hands-on arts as well as Southern Arizona’s largest inflatable playland, historical, and educational projects; Community-area non-profit organizations presenting material about their mission and services; Cultural-food sales by local and international food vendors, and artists from around the world featuring paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and photographs reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Southern Arizona and all surrounding regions.

The Festival will also have music and dance performances from local artists both Saturday and Sunday on the festival main stage.

Event Location
Pima Community College Northwest Campus
7600 N. Shannon Rd.
(Parking Lot Show)

Pima Community College Northwest Campus is nestled into 50 acres off North Shannon Road in northwest Tucson.  The Northwest Campus, which opened in fall 2003, has been a hit among students, faculty and the community right from the start. The first thing that strikes many is the sheer beauty of the campus, with its southwest-style architecture and sweeping vistas of the Tucson Mountains and surrounding environments.
